Rumors continue to fly that Kansas State basketball coach Frank Martin might be hired by Miami. That would be a well-timed and beneficial move for all concerned.

Martin's best days at K-State are over. Whether you think he's an effective coach or not, Frank Martin is going to have a difficult time recruiting the type players that the Wildcats need. His uncontrolled demeanor during games which includes ranting at his players in front of the whole world isn't a favorable fit at K-State.

Martin has run off a number of players, including Wally Judge and Freddy Asprilla from last season's team. The word gets around to prospective recruits.

The best K-State can hope for next season is a team that will finish somewhere near the middle of the Big 12. There's no one waiting in the wings to replace Jacob Pullen and Curtis Kelly

btw, his nightmare lineup for ku = top 100 sr, top 50 jr, top 100 rs jr, top 50 jr, top 50 rs jr.

would be a miracle if self could keep them in contention, but i wouldn't bet against it.  i'm most anxious to see if manning can develop that pair of top 50 upperclassmen into decent bigs.

That is two from last year.  There have been more in the previous years.

Having Dom back for his senior season would have been nice. This writer dude is right though, Frank may very well have his best days at K-State behind him. Shitty recruiting, inability to coach a whole season, huggins momentum wearing off, and now acting like a crap head will really start to add up if he stays.

Mac also said Frank would be a complete bust when we hired him.

I like this guy. Not much different than some grumpy old fart at the Shop Quik complaining about gas prices.
