i mean seriously, i wonder how many people subscribe over there so they can get an occasional boob thread and their cats (already reported here) news in the same place

it leads me to believe that the over 60 crowd over there think the internet=gopowercat.com

A sock covers a true identity.  So, a Ku fan wears a sock here when he posts as if he's a K-State fan.

A tuck is anyone older than 35, i.e. a non-youngster.  Tucks tend to shave regularly, not do pot, and tuck in their shirt when wearing a suit and tie.  Youngsters are trouble by these choices and often default to non-shaves, pot and untucks because they want to be seen as being cool.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

It amazes me that gE has been around and free for this long and they still don't have a solid grip on that stuff.

When people say "do pot" it makes me laugh.

Staff: Question during slow time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you guys ever thought about going back and maybe interviewing former players of the program during the slow news time?

For example, getting an interview with Pullen or Ell Roberson, etc etc?

I think it might be interesting to get some good Q&A with former players and see what their thoughts are on the current state of the program, their memories and what they are up to these days.3/24 1:57 PM | IP: Logged

We've done some historical pieces in the past. If we really run into a span when we have nothing cooking -- we're hoping to populate the site with recruiting for a while -- we turn to historical stuff, such as all-time teams, etc.

Honestly, we have a brief window in which to pack vacations and down time. Most of the guys go seven days a week from August until the end of hoops (work may be an hour or 18 hours, but it's still something) and it's nice to actually take some down time.

The challenge is to accomplish recharging the batteries and keeping stuff flowing on the site, so I will keep this idea in the cooker for this spring/summer.

Nobody has ever worked an 18 hour day on that site, unless you can't time spent scoping college girls at the bar.

If they need to add content they should figure out what sports K-State offers and cover some of them

wasn't it confirmed Fitz had butt/hemorrhoid issues awhile back?

maybe it's from the 18 hour days sitting on info that the likes of Jeff Goodman scoop the eff out of them with.

one of fitz's employees confirmed the info a couple hours later, so not sure what the big deal is here.

Guess his "sources" missed the Marcus dismissal. Great work, Brett.

I am happy that we have an omnipotent and morally superior jouno crew in Manhattan.  Sorts it all out and gives it to us on a need to know basis.  Don't want too much info in the wind.

Claws.....thoughts from a local supporter

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Happened to chat today with a sports fan from St John.  He says that Wade is really excited about next year.  No surprise there.  And that he is already working on gaining weight and strength.  He is a steady shooter with almost no downs. Solid citizen.   Too bad he doesn't have some really good street ball guys to practice against out there.

We already knew all of this, but it's nice to have something for a positive thought today.
