totally enjoyed trip to Perth, Australia!! Sorry, did not find a kicker..no qualified persons seen. Only viewed small youngsters playing rugby. I saw tons of stuff/animals/terrain, never would have seen in Kansas. Great white shark attack near Perth, while we were there. Very relaxing three week vacation The coastlines look like total green, and middle of continent looks ten times drier than western Kansas in august!!

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!! #59 I am truly blessed, as doctor's told me years ago, " you do not have long". But I got to see all my children graduate college, and begin productive lives...speaking of productive....Mackenzie delivered a 6.5 pound baby boy June 22! She is a great mother, and K-Stater!! Now, I have two wonderful grandsons, you betcha I am proud!!! Proud of my family, my friends here on GPC. And very proud to be a Wildcat fan and booster. EMAW!!

I went to the Pittsburg post office around 10am today. As I turned north on Locust off of 4th street, three blocks from the post office, I saw a very athletic young man running on the sidewalk. And I mean running. As I drove up next to him I recognized it was Alex Barnes. I parked in front of the post office and got out of my vehicle wearing my purple polo with Powercat logo. As I stepped on to the sidewalk, Alex was coming up on me. I stopped, put my right index finger on the logo and did a thumbs up with my left hand. He got the biggest smile on his face and gave me a nod as he ran by. No words. But I was impressed that he was running hard on a Tuesday morning in the heat by himself.
