ladycatintexas is facebook friends with our guy elwood. sometimes he starts a new thread on wabash station to tell her he liked the picture she posted of her daughter or dog or something. it's pretty great.

Boy. Sometimes I wish I were on GPC just for elwood.

a great thing about him is that he never posts in any other threads. he just starts his own. usually doesn't even post again in the thread he started. so, you can easily find all his posts just by scanning the "started by" column of wabash.

Stadium Expansion thread   Reply

Alright guys what is everyone hearing? There's enough Wabashers with money that have to know something. I had heard rumors that there may be another major announcement in November or December of this year (possibly at the bowl game like last time (assuming we go to a bowl)). So Let's hear what people are hearing, if you can't really say details any little bit would be awesome, because there's nothing more that I want to do this summer than continue my photo updates (I really had a good time doing that). So I'll start with stuff that I'm pretty sure we're getting.

-New Surround sound system in the stadium
-New Video boards (I've heard rumors that there will be 2 boards the size of the current South Board in the North East and North West Corners, and the South board will be replaced with a board 3x the size of the current one. Also hearing they'll put in some ribbon video boards.)

Now for things that I've heard rumored
-First the Limestone wall around the bottom of the seating area (Some have said it's way too expensive but it would really help the look of our stadium)
-For a while there was talk of a large Hotel on the South West side in front of Bramlage (but it's now sounding like that won't be happening as the backers for it have pulled out).
- Rumors of More Club seating in the South end zone that would wrap but not connect the Pressbox and Upper deck. Also this would attach to the K-State legends room in Bramlage to be used for both Basketball and Football.
-A complete Rebuild of Vanier tearing down Vanier and starting over with a whole new facility including seating to wrap the lower bowl and complete the lower stadium.

Again these last ones are just rumors but I was wondering if anyone else had heard anything. If you can't really speak even a yes things are in motion or small tidbits would be awesome.

Ahh you're cute you think that was the first time that stuff was brought up. But hey thanks for adding to this thread. If I wanted their input I would've asked over there, but we all know they're just college students with no real connections and the next time the University comes to any of them for a big donation would be a first. The same can't be said for people on here, so I thought it was worth a shot. That board is definitely good for a laugh from time to time though.

Honestly, I don't even care.

1) He acts like he is too good for us, which would lead to him being in Snyder's doghouse.

2) He doesn't fit into our offensive system.  If he can't block, he won't play in our system.

3) He's demanded to play WR.  I don't think he's quick enough to get separation as a WR at the D1 Level.

4) He's from Wichita, and for some reason those kids always get homesick and want to come back.  IMO this is almost like a JUCO placement.  At this point in his coaching career, Will Muschamp has the same record that Ron Zook had during his time at Florida.  Muschamp won't last much longer unless his offense pulls its head out.  I'd put money that Goolsby will spend 2 years at Florida, and transfer back to KState.

5) He's a flipping TE.

i hate our fan base sometimes
