Ignore OIL PRODUCTION SW OF WICHITA Reply

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe it is Harper county....wells making 7,000 to15,000 Bible. Per day...... horizontal drilling......but also making a very high per cent. Water content....tjerefore, having a very good disposal for salt water is actually BETTER than having a producing oil well. Check out. Sand ridge production
You really have to misspell barrels pretty rough ridin' badly for auto-correct to turn it into Bible. I am glad he misspelled it that badly.

bbl turns to Bible pretty easily

I love when some powerespect gets laid and then talks about it on GPC. All the mid life crisis types (re: 95% of them) gather around the guy explaining how hot/smelly the girl was. It's like when you were 11 and someone had a Playboy on the playground.

Maybe he doesn't have auto-correct and he was reading his Bible and just got confused. This seems more likely.

Also, from now on, I wish we would all give up the sock talk when it comes to Elwood. I know there is a line and there are people on both sides of the line, but lets not rehash it every time he one ups himself.

That is a little weird, but I get your point.

I have told him on several occasions that he should team up with James Patterson and develop mystery series, as D Scott can write. He should give it a try.........

NYCatscan--- You'll like my 4,500 words this week on LHC Bill Snyder and Michael Bishop and how they altered trends in college football. Magazine cover story. I spent part of the summer talking with some guys from the 1997 and 1998 teams about the evolution of that offense and then spoke with a couple Big 12 coaches in Dallas. I think it turned out to be a decent story.

really?  you guys saw him and don't have anything other than that?  i want to know how the guy is put together.  how does he move around?  does he look like a 0-1 guy or a 3 technique?  this is a position of need!  i wish i had been able to go because i would have watched the interior DL and offensive tackles the entire time.  two places where we need some sh_t to happen.

why not?  it isn't sexual.  some folks on here aren't mature enough to grasp "football talk".  coaches and scouts talk all of the time about how a kid is built and, YES, they talk about his ass.  i know you have a pair of eyes to see whether or not he has a butt and anything else about his frame.

When you say a big dude.....did you notice if his lower body is built pretty well??   Is he filled out his lower half to match his upper body girth?      I am curious on his arm length and what kind of balance he has, and if he is strong enough through his core to hold his own and not get blown off his center of gravity.   If you noticed anything about his lower half, that would be helpful.

I disagree on Hakeem. I thought he looked completely gassed out there today. He looks stout and has good size but he's not super thick in the lower body. Our OL was getting the best of the DL on virtually every play. Except on one play when Keenan Taylor got absolutely abused by Mueller (who continues to look good). Dickey almost blew a gasket on that play. Our DE's look pretty good. DT's were ok. Lutui was the only one that stood out to me in drills.

I'm really happy to have Akinola, Reed when he gets here, and Hood who's now suppositly on scholarship which is absolutely great news for a number of reasons. Competition will be big and will go a long way in seeing who plays opposite Lutui and who is in that three man rotation as well. That's good, we need the depth, and competition. Brings out the better in them for sure. Hood was recruited by Arkansas which is a solid offer and our coaches obviously love that Texas talent, so that is promising as well. Seems to have a good frame I'm no expert but he should help us a lot this fall and down the road. We really are blessed that Hood, Akinola, and Reed all qualified. That's a good stroke of luck we needed and have finally gotten in regards to the defensive tackle position. That's a blessing. Now let's see how they pan out.

One on one  drills Puetz and Douglas both got abused pretty bad a couple times.  The kid that surprised me was Britz. I'm almost sure he was in with the two's a couple times and I thought he looked very good on the one on one drill. He's every bit of 6-4 287 and solid not a lot of fat. I think he might be fighting for a number two spot.

Liked our O-line depth til tonight. Second team had Mariner at LT and Ash at LG. Not a lot of depth at tackle. Mariner is a guard and Rooker looked OK but I thought he looked kinda lean.

Focketi put us in a bind at the tackle spot. One guy that is a tackle who nobody mentioned is William cooper. I wonder if he's not dinged up in some way. I would think he'd be with the twos at tackle if he's healthy. Hopefully Clements shows up to give us another body there though I think he's a guy that could use a redshirt.
