For the life of me, I cannot figure out how Scout's writers can get a hold of recruits and GPC cannot.

Five star vs. Three star talent

Instead of worrying about a fancy dinner at some froo froo five star restaurant, let's enjoy the backyard barbecue and a few brewskies with a bunch of three star down-to-earth good neighbors! That sounds more like K-State to me.

Well put. I would much rather have some bbq than some fancy, overpriced food.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

not sorry if already posted ... smoking hot   Reply
I flipped on the golf channel earlier today and my jaw just about dropped to floor. The Golf Channel's morning host, Holly Sonders, was playing in a Pro Am.
Oh my goodness she is hot... likes to golf, heck she might even like to watch football and drink beer..ha.
I don't have time to watch TV in the mornings during the week, but the next time I'm off, I think I might make a point to check out the GC.

I just checked for some photos... the attached link has a couple of pictures from a pro am that she played in earlier this month .. her playing partner was Ricky Fowler (I'm guessing Fowler's girlfriend wasn't exaclty excited about the pairing..ha). Just click on the photos in the link to see larger image.

I thought she looked hotter today.

I'm sure there are better links, but need to run.. I didn't want to break the GPC rule of posting about a hottie without pics (first link that I found).
The rack is marvelous, but I like the 2nd picture from the left an awfully lot (click to enlarge).
If someone else can find another link with some tasteeee pics, please post (I will check back later).

Move over Natalie Gulbis, I have a new favorite golf hottie...

It is no surprise that Semi Ojeleye is so well spoken and poised. His brother was the most articulate player on the 2011-12 team. So if K-State is fortunate enough to land "Semi," they'll have much more than half an Ojeleye, it seems to me.

Many ways to look at it. I realize Beasley isn't listed, neither is Knostman, both Consensus AA's. Let the debate begin.

Hard for Henson to make that list, as good as he was. It basically comes down to Boozer, Richmond, or Blackman, all things considered IMHO. Beasley could change that, but it's doubtful at this point.

Conference POY-Boozer (2), Kruger (2), Evans (2), Blackman (1), Beasley (1)

NBA Champions-Hitch, Boozer, Webb, Nealy, Richmond

NBA All Star MVP-Richmond

NBA Rookie of the Year-Shannon, Richmond

NBA #1 overall picks-Shannon, Boozer

NBA career pts. Richmond (20497), Blackman (17623), Boozer (12964)

Consensus AA's at KState-Boozer twice, Barrett, Knostman, Richmond, Beasley

National POY-Beasley

Final 4 (tournament team) Willie Murrell

Career pts. at KState Boozer (1685), Blackman (1844), Richmond (1327).

Olympians-Boozer, Blackman, Richmond

Boozer 1 Final 4, Richmond and Blackman each an Elite 8 at KState. Boozer was a member of a Conference Champion(s). Rolando won a Big 8 tournament Championship.

Richmond was the only guy on the list ever to be singled out by Michael Jordan as being the toughest defender to score on in the NBA. I'll go with him.

Mitch was one of the top 3 off guards in the world for over a decade. #1's the best ever, and #2 just got in the HOF.

I think if the trade to DC had ended up a bit better (Richmond + Strickland was supposed to be best backcourt in the East post-Bulls dominance) and Webber had not emerged as one of the top players in the game in Sacramento - Mitch himself would have had a great shot at the Hall.

FWIW, Phil Jackson labeled Ed Nealy in his book as 'His favorite player and smartest player he ever coached.'

My vote would definitely go to Mitch Rock, Ro would be second, and Boozer 3rd. Also is nice to see that all three of those players were not only successful in the NBA, but well after their careers. Something that I have a feeling we won't be saying about Beasley or Walker after they are done. Not so much because of who they are or anything like that, but just the nature of the game these days.
