Our lack of big depth would make wally coming back huge.

Still don't want, clearly he was a cancer because we were actually good after he and Assprilla quit. But if he wants to come back and play the role of Luis Colon and just hack people when needed, then whatevs.

iirc, our change in offensive scheme came at very close to the same time as Wally leaving.   :dunno:

iirc, our chage in offensive scheme was neccessitated by losing Wally and Freddy.

Curt and J.O. did just fine in it.  Maybe we needed the change regardless.   :dunno:

wally has all the tools to get it done at the high major level, he just needs time and quality coaching.  too bad frank gave up on him the way he did, it's pretty sad.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Bad news for someone.  Either KSU or his girl.  One will most likely be hurt out of this, and since he used to be able to ball, I have a feeling it isn't KSU.

Not Hearing Good Things
So I heard from a source just a few minutes ago that Frank is indeed very interested in the Miami job and if given an opportunity to interview, he will interview. Also, the worse part about it is, if Frank stays, Wally is gone, and if Wally goes, so will McGruder. If Frank leaves, Wally will come back and Rod will stay. I hope Wally doesnt take Rod down with him if Frank stays. UGH

   not even good off season rumors

so the obvious leader and main focus of the team next year is going to leave if a guy (that already is off the team), somehow "quits" the team again?

I'm blaming Sticks for starting this whole mess with his resignation.  It was obviously a huge blow to the team

This team is Rodney's team.  When the games are being discussed, it will be "Thomas Robinson and the Jayhawks playing Rodney McGruder and his Wildcats".

No way he leaves.  Also, no way he stays if Frank leaves.  Rodney would not play for Hensies.

Not happening.

If any of this is even remotely true we are so mumped. Losing McGruder would be  :goodbyecruelworld:

If this was Jeopardy, the question would be:

"Name one scenario in which CNS may reconsider buying season tickets"

If Nick rough ridin' Russell is our name next year I will follow Frank.

Either way that sounds pretty depressing.  We better hope Rod learns how to bounce the ball in the off season or else a better rebounding Gilson DeJesus is our best player.

I'm sure this has already been covered, and I'm too lazy to search for it: Don't they make band-aids for black people?
