For that kind of scratch ($6 M, plus a oscar-like $1 or $2 M per year) couldn't we get that Marshall dude from Wichita State? - not sure I would want him, but he seems to be consistent in fielding good squads.

You're basically paying the $6M for Brad's upside. His ceiling is way higher than almost anyone else, and the assumption is he'd stay here no matter how much success he has, unlike other "high ceiling" people.

oscar's agent should be trying to get him a equivalent salary and new deal elsewhere if he is without AD support or an extension here. If Crean were to be a candidate  at MU why wouldn't oscar be a candidate.

Why to people keep saying the donors have the money for buyouts.  I've heard it multiple times on the radio. Will we really spend all that money to fire oscar and bring in Brad?
