i think we're going to be pretty decent this year.  just a hunch.

We'll go to a bowl game.  Probably end up 7-6 or 8-5.

However, if Bill had the sack to fire Cosh and hire a real DC, the record would probably be better than that because the offense will be pretty good.

It's going to hurt even more in 2012 when we actually have good talent all over the offense, and Cosh pisses it all away.

Would really suck for some of these tards if we end up 8-4 or 9-3. Will have to eat major crow.

which tards in particular?

the "I hate Snyder" tards

I mean trust me I wanted GP as much as the next guy, but  now were stuck with Snyder for 3 more years and there is nothing we can do about it. He's not the same coach he used to be, no cac....times have changed and the guy is like 90 years old. No reason to "hate" him.

Not replacing Cosh and hiring Sean pushed me beyond the limit.  I was okay with him being here for however long he wanted to be, but now, I can't look at him objectively.  I really don't like him very much.

I think we may have 9 wins in us this year as a high point and even getting to that I would want to get rid of Bill.  I think you are mixing up "we are going to suck" with "we need to get rid of Bill"

Understandable but it's not like we're gonna hire another Venzy or something. If anything we should hate that old piece of a crap Wefald.

I say we get a "Fire Cosh" airplane banner thread going. Got Ron Prince fired...don't see why it wouldn't get lousy ass Cosh fired either.

I don't hate Bill.  I hate certain things about him that have pushed me to not liking him.

I hate Wefald.  To the core.

well, there's nothing we can do if everyone thinks there is nothing we can do.  i mean, worst case, we get the idea out there that we won't accept sean as a successor or bill staying if he sucks for more than a single season just because he's bill.  we need direction.  we currently have an old genius running the team with no help because he a) refuses to hire any b) refuses to fire losers who have proven they can't perform c) has the idea in his head that his loser son is taking the reigns.  we can all sit back and let it develop or we can get in front of it and attempt to set expectations.

you know what was great about Ron (outside of his turner gill'esque multimedia campaigns)?  we could fire his ass whenever we wanted.  he was working for us.  he sucked, and we mumped up his firing, but we fired him.  if he didn't make it happen, he was out. we had that.  we don't have that with bill.  we need to move towards having that with bill.  i love bill, and god forbid it comes to that, but sitting back and just accepting that it's bill and we are stuck with it until he decides we aren't is a loser plan.

I've felt for a long time that this situation mirrors a lot of dictatorships.

Extremely popular guy takes power.  Things look good for a while.  People love him so much that they let him just continue to do whatever he wants until he has a stranglehold on everything.

Stuff starts to go south.  Leader puts his head in the sand and keeps cronies around while they screw everything up around them.  People think, "Well, there's nothing we can do.  He's too powerful.  We can't make him leave."

Ultimate succession plan ends with dictator trying to place his Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) son in power.  People have enough.  crap starts getting set on fire in the streets.

My fear is open fan revolt against the guy with his name on the stadium.  That will look really, really awkward and ultimately hurt us in the long run.

Leverage.

Bill owns so many of our fans.

Usually trial separations help provide this.  However, our fanbase is full of dumbasses with no confidence or collective self worth.  So, when Bill took us back, we vowed "never again".

When I say "we" I mean you losers who can't handle this discussion without saying that I am wishing KSU ill.

There's the ultimate showdown where Bill and Currie have the discussion about Sean.  If you think Currie is going to let Bill force the most important hire in his career down his throat, I think you underestimate his true nature.

This is at least 5 yrs and one heart attack/stroke/onset of dementia away.

Somewhat of an empty victory, imo.

People get pissed when I say I would rather have Ron than OB.  This is 99% of the reason.  If Ron sucks, he gets fired, if OB sucks, people say how great he used to be and make a bunch of stupid ass excuses for him.  Also, and as I have said before, now is our chance to go out and hire a potential home run coach (Rod or Leach), but instead, Bill is going to keep running us into the ground for 3 more years and we will have to get lucky on a hire.

they got rid of snyder before.  after two consecutive bad seasons.  wefald was downright giddy that he got to hire his snyder 2.0.  they'll get rid of him again if they want to.  it's not that big of a deal.

Had a friend escorted out of a game because while he was verbally berating our team decided to dish out "Why the eff don't we fire effing Snyder?" or something to those lines.  was an epic drunken melt down.  Security said he was tossed because he was to intoxicated and cussing, we all know Snyder's militia hears all in that stadium.

Dude has also had us threatened to be kicked out of multiple establishments during basketball games.  It's awesome to watch the meltdown  :ksu:
