Gregg Marshall is surely  ??  Right?

If he thinks his stock will go down this next year, he could maybe jump to Marquette.  If he thinks he can sustain success at WSU (of course not undefeated but tournament team), he will stick it out until better openings come around.

I think Mid-Major coaches used to think they had to go to a lower tier BCS job before getting the elite job.  Now they know they can just stick at their lower tier, dominate comfortably and still get that elite gig.

Marshall should stay put this year. He has enough clout to get a blue-blood even if he drops off over the next couple of years. (I mean, how can it NOT drop off?)

If Underwood can land a WSU or equivalent, he should take it ASAP.

Any of these coaches would be fools to go to Wake.  Syracuse, Duke, UNC, Louisville, VaTech just hired a pretty good coach, and Virginia may string together some good seasons.  No reason to take over a mid-level program in that hornet's nest.

Didn't Shaka have some other decent schools trying to hire him in the last two yrs?  I mean, was he holding out for a job that was filled by someone else recently and decided to to take the next decent train?

This is true.  How sad for us and him if that were to happen. 

You could have a really good team and there would be 1000's of empty seats for most games.  It really is a pathetic fan base given their logistics and the fact that their university system only allows one campus to really succeed.
