There's also another big reason that could keep Frank from considering NCSU: Their AD Debbie Yow. She cultivated a reputation of being very difficult to work with in Maryland and nobody in College Park was really sad to see her go. If Frank and Currie are butting heads behind the scenes, then the likelihood of him duking it out with Yow is very high if he went to Raleigh. Plus, we could probably match any offer that NCSU has unless they really open up their wallet for him (which I don't see happening)

I'm I crazy to think the following:

Purdue > Mizzou
K-State > NC State

Seems like these guys would be taking lateral, or more likely demotions, by going to those places.

Sounds about right, Gary Williams isn't loved but the Debbie Yow thing along with Duke & UNC makes that the worst job of the current BCS openings. People keep talking about money like that matters, but Depaul and Oregon threw loads of cash around too and no big fishes bit.
