Will these numbers help with your fights with BMW?

http://espn.go.com/blog/big12/post/_/id/26843/take-a-look-inside-the-big-12s-finances
I'd rather lose an internet pissing match to BMW than Haverhill.  Damn, that sucks.

Not really.

Schools calculate revenues differently.    For example, is Ahearn giving that's tied to a football season ticket counted as revenue for Football or Other??

Is East Side suite revenue tied directly into football revenue, or some other revenue line item??

The expenses, revenues and profits are for the football programs only.

Wondering how Kansas ends up second in athletic department profit after nearly depleting their football revenue with football expenses? Basketball, of course. During this same time period, Kansas ranked #11 amongst all BCS schools in basketball revenue. Texas followed closely behind in twelfth position.

WTF, OSU???

Doesn't Boone give you more than that quarterly?

JFC, OSU would cease to exist without Boone.  I always thought they were a little better off than that.

These have to be heavily skewed.  A&M makes more than that.

Also, I am assuming Baylor doesn't report anything because they are private, right?

OU has to support mens & womens gymnastics, softball, soccer (womens), and wrestling. Those sports combined probably eat up a few million a year.

Don't forget that ku steals nearly $3 million a year in compulsory fees from the students to supposedly support their (overall) horrible non revenue sports programs, lots of academic programs up on the hill could sure use that $3 million right now.

Congrats to Lew BITB for getting that rip off fee passed.

What kind of things fall in "Non Allocated" Revenue?

My guess is monies not directly attributable to basketball or football.  Other sports will generate some revenue (though not enough to cover expenses), but the majority I think would be donations to the athletic department in general (not earmarked for football or basketball).  That doesn't seem right though...why would Kansas and K-State have the highest in that category?
