Strange stuff on ESPN NCAA tourney coverage

So I am watching ESPN coverage and they have these promos where famous dudes talk all dramatically a champions and heros and heart and blah, blah, blah...

....and I'm like, what the eff are they doing digging this dude up?





And then they hit me with this...


I just sat there waiting for the punch line, and nothing.  They seriously hired Jim rough ridin' Gaffigan to do their uber serious tournament dramatic spots?   What the eff is that?  :dunno:  That's the hot pocket joke guy, right?
