Do you guys ever get this? My left nut slowly start aching this afternoon, and now when I stand up or put my legs together, it feels like I'm recovering from a serious kick to the nuts. If it still feels like this tomorrow, I think I might go to the emergency room. Kind of worried, although everything I've read on-line indicates that nutt pain isn't common with nutt cancer and an STD is not likely because I have no other symptoms.

I wore some jeans today that are a little tight fitting and a little awkward in the groin area, but I've worn them before and it's never caused an injury.

I am a doctor, and I say you need to put a cold compress on your boys.

Had something similar when I was at KSU. Was very concerned about the whole nut cancer thing.

Got it checked out and found it was a hydroseal(SP). Basically a part of a blood vein down their that would swell at certain times. Had surgery to correct vein issues. Wasn't a big issue, but wasn't a out patient thing either. Knocked me out, shaved the boys, three inch cut about 2" above and 2" to the side of the boys.

Doc said you can live with it and that it won't get worse, but had like a 1/100 chance of causing sterility.

Get checked out, but don't freak out yet.

i quit feeling my sac a while ago. Anytime something felt different, I would freak out. Not worth it.

My roomate freshman year had some testicular torsion happen to him one night and woke up that morning with his nut the size of a grapefruit. Had to take him to the ER and he nearly lost it.

Given symptoms I'd rule you have testicular torsion and probably need to go get an ultrasound.

kind of afraid I might have to change my name to Heinball. It would be a good conversation starter though. How many guys can confidently say: I only have one testicle?

I actually used to experience this every now and again when I was in high school and used to work the legs in the weight room. I only do curls for the girls now, and I haven't had that problem in a long time.

They're feeling a lot better now. I think I pinched a nerve or pulled a muscle or something, because there's also a pain my lower abdomen. I'm still not ruling out a hernia, and I think I'll go have it checked out tomorrow morning regardless... unless I"m just 100% better.

Probably Epididymitis , which is cleared up by antibiotics in two weeks. If it gets so bad you that you swell up or are doubled over in pain, go to the E.R. because you probably have torsion, which is a twisting of the testicle that cuts off blood supply. If it isn't treated in, like, six hours or some crap, you lose that ball.

I thought I had torsion once and was asking about it, and the doc was all, "if you had torsion you probably wouldn't be walking right now because you'd be writhing in pain." So it's probably not that, which is good because that is a straight-up tend-to-this-immediately emergency. And obviously cancer is the other worst-case scenario. So without feeling your balls (will not do), I'd guess you don't have too much to worry about. Still need to go to the doc to make sure, but he'll likely give you antibiotics for your bacterial infection.

update: The only good advice I got in this thread was put Ice on them, which I was already doing. My balls are much better today and I'm going to pass on the Dr. They're just a little sore to the touch, but I can now walk without thinking I was kicked in the nuts and somehow forgot about it. I appreciate all of your concern, and Mods, you can keep my name HeinBall"Z" plural as this little ensemble is going to remain a trio.
