You guys are really exhibiting that juco education in this thread.  The whole premise was that Butler is a mid major program who happened to beat the almighty Wildcats in last year's NCAA tournament.  The whole point was that Butler was no less of a mid major than teams like Northern Iowa, Bradley, VCU, etc, etc.
The point was pretty obvious... You were making fun of k-state for losing to a team that has now reached back to back final fours. How stupid do you feel?

C'mon Ben.  You were making fun of Butler by calling them a "jugernaut"

And hence making fun of KSU for losing to that juggernaut.

Now that juggernaut is playing in the Final Four (again) and ku choked to a double digit seed (again).

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, that's what you meant calling UW-Milwaukee and eventual #8 seed, Butler, juggernauts?!?!?

The inability to grasp simple concepts is staggering, but it's really not that surprising considering that 'Pad still confuses "to" and "too."

okay beems, let's break this down. you were doing one of two things. either you were...

1) making fun of k-state for losing to butler, and sarcastically calling butler a "juggernaut." this makes you look stupid.
or
2) implying that butler is on the same level as the teams that ku has lost to. bradley, bucknell, uni, and now vcu. this also makes you look stupid.

your choice.

We lost to a back 2 back final four team.  You lost to a team that played in the first four.  I'd venture to say there may be a difference

Big-time juggernaut and McDonald All-American-loaded Butler wins the Horizon League Championship over UW-Milwaukee, 59-44.

 :bracketmouse:

Again, the whole premise was that Butler doesn't have a bunch of McDonald All-Americans or a bunch of big-time recruits.  They are just like any other mid major program who wins by playing tough defense, hitting free throws, and playing smart basketball.  You guys are just making fools of yourselves right now.  Please continue.

If today's game and this year's NCAA tournament didn't prove that teams like Butler and VCU are for real, I don't know what will.

I think Butler had a lottery pick on their team last year... Did UNI?

You should have never included UW-Milwaukee with your "juggernaut" comment.  Totally mumped your revisionist history play.  Otherwise, you get an E for effort on this one.  My advice, take it like a man/woman, plead nolo contendere, regroup and come back hard when McLemore commits.

On March 8th you were worried about K-State fans making fun of KU losing to mid majors?

It had been 11.5 months since that happened.

Its not that ku was losing to mid majors...... it was losing to mid majors with crappy seeds.

A 5 seeded butler beat a 2 seed Ksu.   Butler also beat 1 seed Cuse and won their Final Four game

Bucknell Bradley and Northen Iowa.   What else did they do?
