EPIC SANDSTORM VALIDATION THREAD!!!

-- None use the beat as effectively as Kansas State, which cues the song immediately during time outs whenever the Wildcats seize momentum.

-- Students in Bramlage pump their fists and go ballistic, adults tucks laugh while wondering whatever happened to the Wabash Cannonball, and opposing coaches make few adjustments because of all the racket.

-- Other programs seem stumped on correct timing. Missouri made some half-court presentation, then played “Sandstorm” for roughly 15 seconds during a time out in the Tigers’ loss to Kansas. Pitiful.

I hope this thread draws lots of stick way up the ass ku fans.

So they don't play any jock jam style songs at any ku sporting events??  No "Enter Sandman" type songs, no Euro Football songs of any type, no poorly done flash mobs??

Just a giant collection of stick in the ass ku fans and ku bandwagoners intertwined with a sea of blue hairs??

Not that your post doesn't have some validity, but most of the Jock-jams-esque crap is at football games.

Either way, we don't incessantly play Jock Jams for the duration of a two hour basketball game.

KU basketball games go with the "pep band" sound.

It's soothing to the golden-yeared KU patrons who are seated in the sections that KSU fills with raging, filth spewing undergrads.

Different strokes for different folks.  I guess you just have to ask yourself which you prefer?
