The fact that a student newspaper writer was almost able to get the acronym EMAW banned from official use at K-State should have clued us in to how spineless and pathetic our administration is willing to be if they feel like it's in their best interest.

Have you guys not paid attention to the year that was 2015? Everything is offensive. I mean, South Carolina removed the confederate flag from their state (which is a good thing)! No one has a backbone anymore. Everyone is trying to be politically correct. It's not just a K-State thing.

Saying eff is not politically incorrect, Wacky. That's the problem. Like, we're not chanting racist or homophobic slurs, we're expressing our dislike for KU emphatically, which should be encouraged. If they don't want it to be on TV then play it during a TV timeout. To ax the whole thing completely is pathetic.

It's awful, went to the WVU game, and there wasn't a coordinated peep from the student section. No heckling of the other players, no clapping until the first bucket, no shouting out the number fouls at the other players, no whoosh K-S-U chant after a made free throw. I haven't been out of Manhattan that long. All those things and a few more fun things sprinkled in were still mainstays when oscar got here. Everything that was developed during our Huggy/Martin run is completely gone. The fOOD is a dried out husk and it's completely John Currie and the animal's fault.

I mean, you're not wrong that the section turns into GA for winter break, but I believe students are able to still attend and sit in that section. Unless the GA crowd was REALLY young, then there were 2-3k students at the game.

I sit in section 17. I just thought it was an older crowd that game. But my eyes are old. I wish the student section was even half as crazy and crude as it was five years ago, and I was not a Martin fan. Like what he did to reinvigorate the building, though.

I'm with Canary. From my vantage point it was at least 50 percent GA. Also, they had newspapers for like one row?
