Yet they all still have Texas in the top 10 (the 1st few I checked anyway).  Also, eff this Whitelaw Reid guy.

#19!

 :excited:

f*ck yes. why are bracket people still putting us as a 7???

I don't get that either.

One win this week prolly keeps us where we are.  Two wins gets us moved up to 15, and three wins puts us top 12.

Taking into account our RPI and strength of schedule, why are we not projected as a 5 seed?

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

That's where I see us.  I see us with a chance to move to a 4 if we beat KU, stay at 5 if we just beat CU/ISU, and drop to 6 if we lose our first game.

I like it. Pretty accurate for our body of work and what we've accomplished thus far.

I think that's probably where we'll end up.

I have no complaints about our ranking, really. But I think it's absolutely ridiculous that some of the voters don't have us ranked. Who beats two #10 teams in a 6 game winning streak and doesn't get into the top 25?

Those that lose at least 2 of the other 4 games?  :dunno:

Who moved in this week? Xavier, Temple, and Kansas State. The first two are probably right where they should be (No. 20 and No. 25, respectively). But at No. 23, I think you could make the argument that Kansas State is a bit too low. The Wildcats have won their past six, including wins vs. Kansas and Missouri and last week's win at Texas; you'd be hard pressed to find 22 better teams than Frank Martin's at this point in the season. But because the Wildcats weren't in the coaches poll last week, and the coaches poll doesn't do well with dramatic shifts or meteoric rises, Kansas State is relegated to the back-end of the voting. (The AP poll has Kansas State at No. 19. Nice job, AP poll.)
