Lol.  My God, the dumbassery of these people.  Honestly, everyone should experience Kansas City during this time of year one time in their lives to truly appreciate the irrational idiocy of this collective fan base first hand.

The best time to go shopping is the day after KU loses in the NCAA tournament.

It's like Dawn of the Dead out there.  People just walk around in a zombie haze.

Went to Kansas Sampler the day after they lost to UNI and we won.  Amazing.

The Lawrence Area Catbackers had the bar ALL to ourselves after the end of the KU/UNI game.

Wow... you guys are really big-time.  No doubt that the UNI game was K-State's biggest win of the season last year.

Meh..i think that would probably be the xavier game but i could be mistaken i would rank the UNI win as 5th or 6th because it just proved our theory on big 12 refs

CBS kept cutting to this little kid crying.  That and the scrubs crying, priceless.  Even if it were my team I would have had to laugh.

I couldn't get enough of Mario Little at that time.  Really hope to see this again.  If it does happen again, Ted Turner better be ready and have a locker room cam and a fifth channel ready to go so that we can get uninterrupted coverage.

I think Mario Little would still be on that gym floor crying if somebody didn't pull him off the court.

The most beautiful part about it was the fact that he never even played a single minute of that season.

Great moment.  When the foreigner hit that shot it felt like we had won the National Championship.

Ben, why are you always having to justify the "rivalry" between ku and mu.   The numbers simply don't lie.   In football, the game rarely sold out, so it was moved to Arrowhead, this year Arrowhead was graced with 10's of thousands of empty seats, in fact it's only been a true sell out at Arrowhead once.    Meanwhile K-State dominates the top 25 record crowds at ku charts and is in the Top 10 at Missouri twice, ku is not.

In basketball, the local KC TV station thought so little of it, they couldn't even manage the uplinks properly.

Why are you so butt hurt over the fact that KU and Mizzou are bigger rivals than KU and K-State, 'Pad?  You guys have to win more than 3 out of 45 games if you want a real rivalry.
I am curious, though...what is the record with ku - Mizzou record for the last 45 games?

Whatever it is, it cannot alter the hilarity of the cutaway from the ku-Mizzou game to a Big 10 game.

Why does it bother you so much that K-State plays second fiddle as far as rivalries go for KU?

Why do the cold hard realities of the lamest "big time rivalry" in the country bother you so much.   The football game is rarely sold out and relegated to regional TV or FSN more times than not (in the past it wasn't even televised at all some years, and there were 1000's of empty seats), and the basketball game has CBS stations all over the country cutting out early, including the CBS station in Kansas City.     K-State occupies 2 spots on the Top 10 largest crowds for MU football (ku none), K-State occupies 4 of the Top 10 record crowds at ku, including the #1 spot . . . MU, shows up at 23rd.
