If Tech beats Mizzou, what seed do you think Mizzou ends up with? 12?

10/11. Though they could fall to one of the 12 seed play in teams.

Their resume just looks bad. Their last win (and their best win of the year) over a Top 50 RPI team was against us. In January.  They played their best basketball in December and have a terrible road record. I suppose they could still land a 9/10, but a loss to Tech would also give them a 5-7 record in their last 12. There is just not much to like about their resume.

That said, if they land at 10/11, I would not want to be the 6/7 seed that has to play them.

Yeah, I think they will beat Tech and A&M.

Yeah, I think they will beat Tech and A&M.

If they play like they did in December/January they should/could. Or how they played at home.

I can easily see TT, but I don't see them getting by A&M

I don't disagree.  But they have a pretty good RPI, a somewhat respectable SOS, seven top 100 wins, no 'bad' losses (Tech would be the first), and a decent overall record.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be an 11 or 12 in a normal year, but some of the teams that are going to sneak in on the back end of this thing have some ugly, ugly resumes.

It's one of the reasons I think we're a six seed right now, minimum.  Beat CU, and look respectable against KU, and I think we may play up to a five.

Quote from: Andy Katz
1. Kansas is one of a handful of hot teams in the country right now. But, outside of Pitt, the Jayhawks may have the hardest time winning their conference tournament. A possible semifinal against Kansas State looms, and then if Texas is in the championship that means getting past two Final Four contenders.

Andy pretty much saying ku sucks, will not make it far in the tournament, and ksu is a lock for the final four.

It's really amazing what a six game winning streak has done to change the perception of this team.

I think the teams that they beat in the stretch is the cause for optimisim, not the streak.  Even though we own TX and they seem to be down at the moment, but beating KU in the fashion they beat them causes the heart to pump a little more purple coolaid in the veins.
