BYU Honor Code

BYU has had a strict policy of enforcing the honor code.
This past football season, running back Harvey Unga was suspended for a violation of the honor code.
The BYU honor code statement, from the BYU undergraduate handbook, consists of:
• Be honest
• Live a chaste and virtuous life
• Obey the law and all campus policies
• Use clean language
• Respect others
• Abstain from alcoholic beverages, tobacco, tea, coffee and substance abuse
• Participate regularly in church services
• Observe the Dress and Grooming Standards
• Encourage others in their commitment to comply with the Honor Code

Per ESPN, he admitted to having sexual relations with his girlfriend.... which is in violation of the honor code at BYU.

What a terrible effing University.

Come to K-State and bang all you want.

42-26 at the half.  Hahahaha.  Hahahahahahahahahahaha.  That's what you get for being backward prudes.  Enjoy your #6 seed (Robbie Hummel precedent), you effing geniuses.  I wonder if that dude was suspended for effing a cougar.

Pat deserves some sort of ring or something at the end of this season, even if we don't accomplish much more.

At very least, the goEMAW POY award should be named after him.

OMFG.  They're getting destroyed.  59-38.  Shooting 26%.  Poetic.  If I didn't know better, I would say that God himself is punishing BYU's administration for making hypocritical moral judgments.  Good luck recruiting for the next ten years, bros.

If leaving the school, Davies now has the freedom to drink tea, engage in coitus, and...if he so chooses...engage in homosexual behaviors.  What a lucky fellow.

I don't watch BYU, so I don't know anything about the kid, but if he has potential Association talent, he needs to go now.  Can point at the season as his body of work rather than Jimmer's.

How come they don't include "Don't be a self-righteous rat" in their honor code?

I don't know.  The kid signed up to play at BYU and then (like an idiot) admitted to breaking their "honor code."  Seems like he had it coming.

I just don't buy the story of him volunteering the information to staff or administration that he mumped a girl. Unless he wanted to be kicked off

He admitted to it, apparently.
