Currie better not eff this up...

First, let me make it clear this is intended as a positive post so please don't make it into something its not. I am also only repeating part of what a friend told me. I would rate their credibilty an A-. I was told that Currie had a visit with Frank following the NU game. You may have noticed Currie sitting close to the bench taking notes. I was told he was making notes about Franks language and how he conducted himself during the game. I was told both Schultz and Currie had rcvd numerous comments from boosters about their concerns with Franks behavior during games and that a conversation did occur with Currie. I have NO idea if that is true but I did notice Franks demeanor last night was much more reserved. Did this conversation actually happen? Don't know. My friend said it did and he was told that by several sources. I do know I appreciated Franks conduct last night. I said this is intended as a very positive post and I mean that. Frank coached a great game last night and did it without the emotion of the past. If he did in fact make a concious effort to dial it down, I think that's a very positive move on his part of perhaps responding to a possible visit with Currie. He is doing a really great job coaching them down the home stretch.

You think Frank likes being told what to do?

I think it is hilarious thinking of Currie taking notes of when he says eff/crap/[redacted]...like a curse jar or some crap.
Sometimes I think of the Book of Job and how God likes to really eff with people.

Someone should plant drugs or a dead hooker in Currie's office.

I paused the KSU/Neb game in the 2nd half, and this was on the screen:

Left (seated): Currie  :blank: / :nono::facepalm::dubious:
Middle (standing): Martin  / :bang: / :curse: / :runaway:
Right (seated): Police officer  :horrorsurprise:

I have no insidey stuff...BUT...

Currie isn't stupid.  He knows that if Frank leaves and it's because of Currie, it will get out behind the scenes in the coaching and AD community and Currie would look like a complete douche bag who lost the only quality coach KSU has had in decades.

HOWEVER, IMO Currie would only be enganged in something this stupid at the instruction of big money donors...i.e. to make them happy.  He's has some SUPER big plans on facilities so it makes sense that he wouldn't be too willing to tell them to GTFO very quickly right now.

In summary, I don't think Currie is stupid, but if he fucks up, I'll fly a banner I SWEAR TO GOD.

No money is big enough to chase off a 2 time Big 12 COTY.  The rough ridin' award is named after Frank Martin.  Currie wouldn't run that man off, he would basicaloly be signing a death warrant for his hopes of moving back to Tennesee.

Frank makes finding ammo against the opponent easy during KSU week... Guess I'll just have make a sign that says "Better watch out Frank, John Currie is watching."

:sigh:

I call bullshit. While I am sure our shirt tuck fans email Currie constantly about Franks naughty language, I doubt Curries gives a eff. In the Nebraska game the refs were garbage, and the players kept shooting themselves in the foot when we had chances to pull away and finish them off. That is a perfect storm for Frank to go crazy at people. Last night, outside of some bad defense on Thompson in the first half, we played exactly like Frank wanted us to play. That is why he didn't have to go crazy so much (although thats not to say he didn't have moments during timeouts).

Currie isn't going to throw this away cause some "boosters" hate the word eff. But he probably is double checking to make sure nothing happens that can be spun into a "Leech incident" or Mangino. Either way, nothing will come of this. Currie didn't give a eff about weed, why would he give a eff about "rough ridin' play some motherfucking defense!"

I call bullshit too, however I wouldn't put this past our fans.  That's what is so sad.

I hate 80% of our fans very much.

Currie's just making notes so that he can laugh about them later with Frank, all while looking like the concerned father to the big money boosters.

Or he's perfecting his turtle for his Art Institute of America application.

I found the drugs, but do I have to kill the hooker or is there like a dead hooker store type place where I can get one?
