The media gets their preseason predictions wrong therefore you can't win COY.   You simply can't argue against absolute stupidity, but that's what you get by the ton from Tardville.

Coaches got it wrong, too.

Frank didn't.

Cuz he couldn't or cuz he didn't want to? We'll never know.

that eliminates 10 of the 12 from coy, head to head btwn martin and myscoach should settle it.

Turgeon was the other coach that picked KU to win the Big 12.

Katz picks Frank
Quote from:  Andy Katz
• If Kansas State continues on its current pace and finishes in third place in the Big 12, why shouldn't Frank Martin be coach of the year in the league? Martin has dealt with multiple suspensions and defections and has the Wildcats positioned to be a threat to win the Big 12 conference tournament and go into the NCAAs on quite a high.

Even though it took until late in the season, Martin got Jacob Pullen to become the leader he needed him to be for the Wildcats. Martin is pushing the right buttons with this squad at the right time and, ultimately, isn't that how a coach should be judged? How a team finishes, not just how it starts, should be part of the criteria.

Self.   :blank:
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

everyone has such a huge hard on for frank.  they might as well just come out and say that the criteria for coy is whatever frank does.

Jack Harry basically did a segment on why Frank should have gotten COY last night, and Frank B. , Jack, and Lance all said that the POY has basically become Best Player on Best Team and that is why McElbows got it.  All three said they would have gone with Jake or Burks.  They went on to say that if you take Jake or Burks away from their teams, those teams become OU/OSU/Tech and that Jake and Burks are obviously the most important players to their teams.  Said that it is amazing that everyone knows they have to key on Jake, but still can't stop him.

NBC sports wanted a KSU sweep.

They are completely enamored with us.   :gocho:
