The media gets their preseason predictions wrong therefore you can't win COY. You simply can't argue against absolute stupidity, but that's what you get by the ton from Tardville.

Its not like any other coach can claim a sweep against one of the Top 4 teams in the league. Well, one has wins over the top 2 teams, but that's different.

No other program can claim seven straight Big 12 titles, either.

Most programs don't give themselves a title when they get second place, either.

Unbelievable run the Cats are on right now. Defending B12 Champs, back to back COY awards, POY this year, sweeping TX, crushing KU in the FB and BB series, the amazing conf tourney bye streak living on after goEMAW friend Doc Sadler crushes Missouri....

Has there been a program that has had as much elite level success in such a short period as K-State right now? I don't know of one.

Last year's were after the NCAA tourney.

I can tell you that I know the rumblings I've heard from comittee members are that the Cats are looking good in the POY, COY and conference champs races.

I still think Self. Finishing second in the midst of the worst collegiate AD scandal in decades, the FBI and Feds all over Lawrence, Lew lining his pockets and laughing in ku's face, the worst football program in the conference, horrible in all other sports and with a team rife with character issues....?

He was able to tune it out and coach the team up for all but a few of the biggest games.
