I don't want them to do it on Senior Night.  Do it next year like a normal team would.

1st post here after a few weeks of lurking...

Here is the # 1 Reason why this is a terrible idea.



When this chatter first started, I thought it sounded like a GREAT idea. I mean Pullen definitely deserves the honor, and at some point int he not to distant future, he will be Raftered.

BUT, this season isn't over just because his career @ Bramlage is. The team in general responded TERRIBLY to the lofty expectations, and a large part of that WAS Pullen. I don't want to do ANYTHING to make him or anyone else on the team think they've accomplished a damn thing.

Have Jake back next year when we are playing East Texas Bumblefuck State in early October (or better yet, when we play KU on Big Monday), or if he is earning a check somewhere, do it in a couple/few years. Don't roll the dice on the 2011 'Cats season by aggrandizing your best player that has a history of playing better with the chip on his shoulder.
