Mizzou has 2 tough games this week and we could easily go ahead of them in the pecking order

should already be ahead of them

Bracketology deals have some interest, but mainly looking at where you could be seeded. But the "take it and run" stuff is kind of silly.

Now, looking at how you compare to others, that is meaningful.  Something like this*:

Something like this.

been thinking about this a little.  on how, with luck, kstate could get overseeded to a 6, due to the 11 big east teams.  they can't face each, so if you could get four big east 3 seeds, you'd need four non-big east 6 seeds.  your chart has two big east 6s plus cinci as the first 7.

so, root against notre dame to drop them to a 3 and for st johns, to raise them to a 3.  assuming a loss tonight, kstate would have to beat mu or a&m in the tourney.

lol @ people excited about playing byu, and or whining about gettting an 8/9.  all the potential 1 and 2 seeds* appear pretty even, there's no abrupt drop off after 2, 3, 4 or whatever like there is in most years.

* - except ndu, but i've already stated how i hope they fall from a 2.

Plus I'm hopeful/hoping someone in the committee will step up and say "hey look, K-State the last part of the season is the K-State we expected. Through December/January they simply weren't the same team with the players out, etc. so it makes the most sense to bump them up a seed or two."

yeah, kstate has a story, which can only help.

I dunno, can someone please explain to me how any of the 7 seeds can make a better case than KSU?

It is a very fine line and it all depends on what the committee is looking at. For example, all George Mason has going for them is tearing up a bad league and 12 straight wins. I think the committee will seed them down though b/c they haven't shown they can beat anyone really, they should be a 9, maybe even a 10.
