It seems like every Texas game I've seen for about the past month, they dominate early, get at least a 10 pt lead in the 1st half, sorta let their guard down, and their opponent slowly creeps back in the game. Obviously that "letting their guard down" came back to bite them in the rear on Saturday.
It'll be interesting to see how UT responds if someone hangs with them early, they probably won't panic but maybe become increasingly frustrated throughout the game if they can't create any separation?
Our interior D and rebounding has been pretty solid since the 1st ku game, I think that trend needs to continue in order for us to hang in there tonight. Really hope Curt, Jamar, and JO can stay out of foul trouble.
If Irvs, Russell, and Sprads can play like they did on Saturday, then we're in business, but it will be really tough to duplicate those performances on the road against a Top 5 team.
I can't predict a victory for the KSU Cats but if we can keep it within 5-6 pts late into the game, we might have enough toughness to come away with a victory.
