As I left for work today, I couldn't find my garage door opener. No big deal, wife had the car yesterday so she probably misplaced it.

Wife calls me half an hour ago, her garage door opener missing as well. RUT ROH.

I'm home now, absolutely nothing is missing. I even had a laptop in plain sight in our house as soon as you walk in, and nothing in either car was missing either.

The garage door was down this morning, although I can't remember if I put it down last night (my guess is I forgot).

I've wiped the unit of its codes (at least I think I did), trying to find new openers in town.

Disable the unit until fixed.  Pull the red cord thingy and lock the key lock on the door.

I have the built in HomeLink system in my Chrysler Town and Country Limited. It is a programmable 3-function system that can be programmed to do anything from opening your garage door to turning on your coffee machine. I currently have mine programmed to open my garage door and turn on my living room lights when I get home. Perhaps you should think about investing in an elite, luxury vehicle like my Chrysler Town and Country Limited.   :dunno:

My parents house has a light switch that cuts power to their opener.  Pretty convenient.  They disable it at night or when they're out of town, etc.
