is that this one?  http://espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=240490158

Don't know what happened, but the play by play for the final 20 seconds is fascinating.

Don't know what happened, but the play by play for the final 20 seconds is fascinating.

Massey was fouled with under 5 seconds left, K-State was down by one. He missed both free throws. Ellis got in the lane on the 2nd miss and tipped the ball in with very little time left on the clock. Somehow they called a foul after the shot on Nebraska and then Collier got a technical, then Ellis hit all 4 free throws.  Cats went from down one with 4 seconds left to winning by 5, it was bizarre.

Someone threw a water bottle on the court.

Yeah, I was pretty sure he was involved somehow.

I bet he thoroughly enjoyed watching his Bulldogs takes us out last year just for that moment alone.

For some reason, the 02 home game sticks out in my mind, probably because Nino(or is it Nick  :dunno:) Williams played really well and I must have felt a real wave of optimisim about him being our marquee player heading into the future.  :flush:

And how bout "never nervous" Pervis going for 16 and 12?!?!  :woot:

1 other game that really sticks out to me was the 47-45 track meet we had against the Nubbers in the 1st rd of the Big 8 tourney back in the late 80's. We were squarely on the bubble and absolutely needed that win to get in. Thankfully, Kruger's squad of Coleman, Richmond, and Henson(and several important others) found a way to overcome Danny Nee's crew.

That's all I got for now.

K-State's in the House!

Do I have this wrong? I was hoping for some validation/admiration here.
