Guys, why have a beautiful $86.75 million dollar pressbox clad with majestic native Kansas Limestone when we could have had this authentic pre-fab concrete replica of a Nazi German Pillbox covering Omaha Beach or manning the Siegfried Line perched atop our stadium??
It's like an above ground version of Hitler's last das bunker in the bowels of Berlin circa 1945.

rough ridin' stellar post Dax, I really appreciated this.
Damn. Sort of sad when a school's elite-y high dollar part of their stadium still looks like the ghetto that surrounds said stadium.
Shameful stuff.
The result of my brief analysis of this composition is as follows:
The stadium's structural frame, though stale and rudimentary, was cast aside in the new design. This unifying rhythm of the past serves merely as support for what one could only surmise is a series of modular units bearing no soul, no humble embrace of the conference fabric, and clad in simple planes with minimal fenestration. Rooted heavily in the naivete found mostly in 2nd year design students, the facade was given a few curves because, well who knows. Is this a Big 12 sports facility? I certainly hope not!
