Ayo Saba posted a bunch of pics on GPC that showed something that looked kinda weird to me. See above the "Kansas State University," where the bottom edge of the siding appears? It looks super janky and uneven and not straight and half-assed.

Why is that? Is it unfinished? I'm kind of hoping someone comes in there with snippers and does some cleanup on it, but I don't see any signs around it of other construction still going on in that area.

Same kinda thing on the other side:

What's the story? Again let me reiterate that I got a giant boner all over again from this recent batch of pictures and it's not a huge deal, I was just kinda curious. Reminds me of a beautiful yard that still needs to be edged.

Note the obvious room for expansion on the Big 12 Champions '03 '12' side of things. That should make you feel better.

It looks like some padding (like carpet pad) or at least some sort of buffer to keep the top from being scuffed during work. Seeing the yellow handrail there on the left to me indicates there is still some work going on, and that what's there is temporary

Also for constructioncats, and I'm sure it's been talked about, but if/when they do suites and such on the south end, will any of the levels line up East and West? Will it all look really pieced together from the SW to SE corner? It's hard to picture, I guess.

Just seems like all the elite stadiums have fluid designs all the way around. TIA.

I mean, do they keep it somewhat the same levels from the East to the SW corner? from the West to the SE corner? So much to think about..

The siding you are seeing it set back several feet and doesn't butt up to the KSU part. Its like a balcony, walkway area there and the ksu part is like a handrail. Looks like they just have wood or cardboard on top to protect it during construction.

just a temporary flashing to dry in the composite panels.

Wow, it's amazing how much has changed at the stadium and surrounding area in the last 25 years. That dinky old pressbox, and that dinky old football complex. No practice facility (football or basketball). No hospital across the street west of the stadium. No apartment complexes northwest of the stadium.

Imagine what the will look like in another 25 years!

Yeah it looks increds compared to where it was. It's truly the house that Billt. I rough ridin' love that old field, though. Absolutely would take (field turf version) on throwback field day.

Definitely looked a little like Ron, pretty kickass vid though. We need someone to do that this year when BSFS is at capacity. I'll volunteer to fly the plane!
