At 45,000 seats, the new Baylor stadium will actually be about 1/3 larger than BSFS. 

That's what three seating decks, deeper treads, two continuous concourses and almost all fixed chairback seating accounts for.  If the bleachers were removed at BSFS and we replaced with fixed chairbacks, capacity would drop to around 38K.

I think we should talk about sporting park and how awesome it is. particularly love the party decks in the corner. also gets pretty loud for a small soccer stadium.

For a 22,000 seat venue, Sporting Park is visually intimidating and an extremely loud venue because of the continuous roof canopy that traps and reflects the sound.

The same effect will occur at Baylor.

This is why I'm for the sketch of putting the canopy on the East Side.

Hell, put a canopy on the North and South, too.  Someone can find a way to make it look good.

There are less than 19k seats at SP. Lots of standing room tix are sold tho. Record attendance yesterday with 21k and change
