so since it won't be ready for the first game, when will it be ready and where is the first game going to be played?

At least our projects are not still labeled coming soon.

like I've posted in this thread before, I have a ticket to the first game so I was wondering when it's going to be ready and where the first game will be played.

I heard they haven't even started on steel yet.  I'd make your plans for Arrowhead.

I heard that some super-secrety gov't project over at Roberts Hall produced some super sized moles for the military via some genetic experimentation.  Apparently some of them escaped and have tunneled under the WSC and it will have to be pulled down after some serious mole extraction. 

Not sure how they will go about the critter capture/removal.

My vote goes to robots ala Pacific Rim

Maybe giant Pacific Rim/Carl Spackler hybrid robots.

this could legitimately be hung on the back side of the Dev Nelson Pressbox, and maybe not need to be quietly taken down 18 months later after NOTHING has been done.   

I was a little off on the date.

Folks, WSC is getting boring.   If they could just drop the rendos of Vanier II and overhauled North Endzone seating on us ASAP, and get that project going as soon as football season is over so we can have some delightful construction porn webcam action next summer, well, that'd be just dandy.

lon floyd is apparently running around telling anyone that will listen that the north endzone with be enclosed within 5 years. so there's that.

Well no crap, that was the original agreement with the Vaniers. They asked that Vanier stand for 10 years or until they died (whichever came first) so they didn't feel like their money was wasted. Way to be on the forefront Lon.

In actual news/rumors, the Vaniers have changed their mind. If Currie can raise the money and they still call it Vanier, we can tear it down in January and get building.

Vaniers have set up a rather large charitable remainder trust. I don't think they're going to write an additional check, but they could write it out of said trust, or we could just borrow against it (most likely).

Didn't some jabronies on the NDSU board say he had an insidery source that works @ Arrowhead that KSU has first right of refusal on some dates in Arrowhead @ the beginning of the season? That was about the most detailed (probably BS) details I've seen.

thank you folks.  I had looked and looked for something official and there was ONE post about an email to season ticket holders.  Nothing was said about what was in it good or bad.  It is hard to research this stuff when you are fat, old and technology challenged.

Saw that too, but let's be honest (knock on wood) Currie would see it as a complete failure if he scheduled a primetime game on a friday night to show the world the amazingness of WSC and we moved it to Arrowhead. Tucks and GE's alike would want his head.
