Looks like they might just be expanding the walkway.

that's the most important thing. place is a madhouse during games.

Think he means walkway outside stadium to get from east parking lot to west, which makes the most sense because they had a lot of rock back there.  Ok, case is closed.

the next 90 days are going to fly over at the WSC...the gestation period for the best setting in all of college football is almost complete.  bring on the placenta!

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

They need to somehow get a webcam view of the west side of the structure. That would be neat.

If only they had something to attach the webcam to.  Something tall and solid.  like a tree or something.

Pole cam.  I once used one of those for surveillance of a cockfighting operation.  I'm sure it could be used for the more tranquil purpose of keeping tabs on construction.

Great pic.  Because when it comes to 150 acres of uninterrupted asphalt, you simply don't take chances.

Based on ticket sales, it sounds like we're going to need to expand before too long.

So I don't remember this being discussed yet but there seems to be a large amount of space under the club level seating.  What are thoughts of putting in open air suites (field box) along the top of the seating bowl like they have at Arrowhead?  See Field Box page. http://prod.static.chiefs.clubs.nfl.com/assets/docs/suites_brochure.pdf

Dax, would you agree at some point we have to commit to tearing down Vanier and starting from scratch on a football facility? No way we can keep adding a room to it every 5-10 years and expect recruits not to laugh at us.

I feel like Currie would want to.. but maybe it's too soon, and there's too much kickback from the donors that helped renovate it in '06?

Yes I agree and that's what they want to do . . . the Tim "we just can't write checks" Weiser/Bill "I just can't be bothered with that kind of stuff" Snyder renovation of Vanier of about 6 years ago or so was probably the worst thing that could happen.   Because they spent enough money that if they ripped it all down now, there would be a lot of butthurt.   In Weiser's defense though he did propose a new Vanier and Snyder said no.   Of course Snyder would try and paint a picture that he wouldn't want to see them spend all that money when other programs need things . . . when in reality everyone knows it was because Snyder didn't want to be bothered with having to deal with the logistics of a massive overhaul.   It's a case of being penny wise and dollar foolish . . . the football program is the most important sport, the football program needs the very best facilities.    Had they done what should have been done at the time, then we wouldn't have to worry about it now.

Honest question, what's wrong with Vanier Complex? I've never been inside (except one time I wandered through it rip-roaring drunk after we got spanked by TT in one of Snyder's final years. I seriously about walked into the locker room to give a pep talk. All 100% true. Lucky I didn't get arrested)
