Everyone settle down. NCAA requires one traditional clock and scoreboard. We have them on the walls in Bram.

What's the difference, from a technical pov, between a shot clock and play clock?

Why wouldn't we have a south facing play clock?

After thoroughly reviewing the ncaa rules concerning football competition, including exhaustive analysis for loopholes and exceptions, I've concluded we have to have a clock. The games are based upon time, so it's a requirement.

Sorry guys, but the blame, per usual, lies with the ncaa. Not Currie. And definitely not Weber

If we must have a clock, I say we take a page out of KU's playbook. I haven't been to a game in Lawrence for a few years, but I assume this is their current set up.
