The Tallgrass Family Party Deck. Part of the terrace will feature native tallgrass shipped in directly from the flint hills, while K-State family members pound Tallgrass family of beers, responsibly of course.

Sorry to luke this for the hundredth time, but is the NE corner being put off due to funding or just timing?

I mean, I know I shouldn't be worried what with JC erecting more limestone in Manhattan than an Egyptian Pharaoh, but I just kinda worry that corner's going to be left incomplete for several years.

Since it will technically involve construction on the far north part of the east side, there were possible code issues that would cause delays that they could not chance on such a tight timeline. And since delaying it does allow for another fundraising cycle to help costs and continually upgrade things during construction.

Captain, is the NE corner on pace to be completed next off season, or further down the road?

If I'm not mistaken, the issue has to do with the fact that section 28 extends farther north than section 1 as it's about twice as wide as it's western side counterpart. Thus, not only will construction need to take place on the east side, but also destruction of about half of section 28 which I believe is what causes the coding issues.

on one of the terraces, they should have something like Seattle does where they raise the 12th man flag before the game. maybe bring back that bell that used to be outside of Vanier, have someone come ring the bell as the team comes out or something, crowd goes nuts, etc.

Are they still playing? They used to sell $20 all you can eat tickets that included 10 pounders on Thursdays. K-State should do that
