They still haven't acknowledge the crapty turf mismatch.  Why hasn't anybody heard a word about this?

Apparently it's not as important as this:  http://www.kstatesports.com/sports/m-basebl/spec-rel/071811aae.html

Question for the architects/renderer guys.

So everyone wants us to build a limestone facing on the East side bleachers that were botched in 1998 so they don't look so high schooleo/K-Stateo.  What with the stairwells and the new bathrooms, how would they do that exactly?  I just envisioned they'd start at the back row of the upper deck and build a wall straight down, but now the new bathrooms and the already-existing staircases jut out from that, so something different than building a wall straight down would have to be done.  How would they do this?

I think most stadiums have some depth to their facades. K-State could easily and comparatively cheaply have a multi-level promenade for concessions/refreshments serving the top deck and ground level seating that went out well past the staircases and bathrooms.

Here's a picture of what OU did.  We could probably (if expensively) do something similar for our east side structure:

Could be spray on bonding agent so the mortar will stick. Could be the non cheap ass way of doing things we were use to.

Probably sealant to keep moisture out. Just happened to be pigmented beige.

Would take.  I think.  I think it looks pretty great, if top-heavy on our tiny guy of a stadium.  Also, that enclosed part in the middle of the press box (as viewed from inside the stadium) that is bright purple is weird and I would rather just have it be a straight across tiny upper deck like there is on the middle of the other side.  That being said, looks pretty sweet.

But who are we kidding, it's probably not gonna turn out like that.

The purple part represents the old press box.

FWIW, like I've been saying all along, this looks very similar to the Maryland job before and after done by Heery.

EDIT:  Looks like banddude took down the pictures.

It will be straight across.  That's a comparison to the Dev.  However, when you compare how tall it is to the current Dev it is pretty top heavy.

QFT.  But again, it would be wise to remind ourselves throughout this process that this is not going to be the way it turns out.
