Will the "cool" Pinstripe Bowl K-State be on the new field at BSFS?

Yes . . . it's cool.  Currie Prevails.
NO . . . OB Wins again.

I dont care either way, my question is if we dont go north where do we put everything? we could go east but what does that do for parking/tailgating? if they build up vanier like they are suppose to then that parking lot is gone as well.

FTR i dont care about parking that much but it seems as though we are running out of space and I think the north lot is the only way to go at this point

Vanier should be built upon Vanier.  Put the indoor facility and practice fields to the east.  Move the displaced east parking spots North of Kimball, connected by a pedestrian bridge.  simple.

Can we just put the practice fields and the indoor facility in the lot next to the rowing house?
gonna lose a few trees in the process, this pleases currie greatly

Let them hash it out, have a dick tuck measuring contest (dick measuring tuck contest?).. and lets see who is hearing/getting more info than the others (probably whoever reads this thread the most).

Yea. Too bad they don't got to 1,000 for Baylor. That's not cool.

Currie just emailed me personally and had the following to say:

Quote
Stats/Hustle Boards at BSFS Fully Operational
I have had numerous emails and conversations with fans over the last several weeks regarding the stats boards on the south end of LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium being out of commission. I am pleased to report that thanks to the diligence and hard work of our staff, the boards are back in business and will be in full operation on Saturday against Baylor!

You know he's serious because of the '!' at the end.

I was talking to some Athletics peeps at the game this weekend and I casually brought up the fact that the hustle boards were working again.  They told me that the reason the didn't work was that someone forgot to pull the controller out of the old pressbox before they blew it up.

I heard the same story. Apparently the boards are so out of date that replacement parts are no longer available. They had to bring the engineer who designed the boards out of retirement to reconstruct the controller...

You want athletics to mix with academics?  Doesn't that create an explosion or something?

Reminds me of the time the bulb on my DLP TV burned out and I took it to Best Buy.  None of the staff had ever seen that type of bulb before, so they made Bernie come to work to look at it, except Bernie doesn't get around too good these days on account of his COPD and botched hip replacement, so I just bought a new TV before he could make it in to look at the bulb.  I hope they let him keep the bulb.

It would also be unethical to ask a student to back-engineer a proprietary control unit for a proprietary system.

With standing room and extra seating area accounted for, Kansas State's facility has actually recorded the higher record attendance number.

KU's largest crowd in stadium history is 52,530... K-State has had 53,000+ at every game this season. Invalid list.

Not sure if it's been posted about but you may have noticed during the Thursday night Kentucky/MSU football game that Davis Wade Stadium is getting a facelift in the end zone.

Last Thursday night it looked like about 10,000 empty seats were enjoying the Bulldog experience.  But hey, I'm a proponent of building as many seats as possible.
