Have not heard this theory.

not a theory, it's fact.  Selby and Robinson were/aren't hurt.

More details or link to previous thread?

Self sent T-Rob out to practice on the MCL/torn meniscus.  Then they somehow found out about it.

Selby wasn't hurt.  Wore a boot, but practiced.  Just wouldn't get to play.  Self went as far as to question his toughness in the KC Star.

Character issues will be the undoing of ku and Self.

Slant talking point: Self held Robinson/Selby out so he could help his buddy Frank Martin get a win so he wouldn't lose his job

From the star article: "Self announced that Thomas Robinson could see action in tonight’s game. Robinson had surgery 10 days ago to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee."

So you're telling me, that TEN DAYS after surgery, he is ready to play? Greatest rehab doctors of all time apparently.

Seff initially said he tore his MCL and when non-dumbasses called him on it not making sense he changed it to meniscus....then, when more non-dumbasses called him on the meniscus not making sense and that running him back out there without a properly healed meniscus could ruin his career they apparently had miracle water sprayed on it and Seff said, "NUH UH!" and now he's good to go.

Wouldn't this be similar to Blake Young?  He came back pretty quick, sucked, but came back.

Was thinking this.

On the maybe 5 percent chance TRob did suffer a meniscus injury, he should call David Hoskins before trusting Massa Self with his and his little sister's future.

Full meltdown in Lawrence today.  The hawk fan "autospin" is in full gear.

1.  Oh this is a good thing.
2.  He was never right for our system.
3.  This will only make things stronger.
4.  Losing to KSU was a good thing.

Same crap different day with those guys.  I'm pretty sure if they can be within three games of Texas they will find a way to hang another banner.

No more a punk than Brady or Johnson.  Less of a punk than either of the Morrises.

Granted, he gets his ass kicked.  Maybe that's why Mario Little chose to fight a female?  Learned a lesson from Tyshawn?

Do have to admit, Kansas has cranked up the criminal tap.  We are going to have a tough time competing.   :curse:

Doesn't help either having 44 student athletes with a 4.0 gpa. We will never close the gap on mcmw with that crap going down.
