Sounds silly, but stay 5 miles from downtown - where I'll be all week in Sheraton 4 points -or- a block away at Best Western Inn and Suites.   :confused:

Oh yeah, it's for four nights....

Be sure to weigh the 4x of battling traffic, and 4x of being downtown at night.

Sheraton 4 Points is like in the middle of nowhere (fun stuff) according to google maps

I've always preferred saying in a shithole that's close to a lot of stuff to do rather than being in a really nice room next to nothing. Ideally you'd get the nice room near downtown though.

I haven't been to Houston for a couple months but I could have sworn there were more than two hotels there.

Well these two are the only ones under $200.  Also, booking today... be there in 60 hours.  A lot of sold out ones within 5 miles of downtown.
