At one point a few years ago iirc he had an outstanding Riley Co. warrant on some drug charge.

The FB added a kid to the 2013 class that graduated this past spring. His name is Mangus Scott from Coyle, OK. He was already coming to KSU for track, and apprently this past summer the FB staff decided we can't have him on campus and not play FB. It looks like he will be on campus and with the track team this fall, starting his 5 year clock and burning his redshirt for the FB team without being on the team. He will join the team in the spring. It looks like we've hit our 25-man limit for this class, so he can't participate if he is on a track scholarship this fall.

It sure is!

Tell me about it. Trying to find good news on the recruiting trail right now seems to be a challenge. I cannot even imagine covering recruiting for a program that shares information on who they are pursuing and they actually are given the time to aggressively pursue recruits.

This is what happens when you make the consistant choice to recruit on the fringes, and not place enough emphasis on overall recruiting.

Its a total package deal these days and Snyder refuses to play no matter how hard it keeps slapping him in the face.
