I'm assuming Johnson still has a redshirt year to rehab, right?

Standard game tactic, get them invested so when you show some attention they eat it up.

This is a great post.

I'll answer that if you'll tell me what else it could be a reference to.

Franklin has Vandy up to #17, including 10 4*s.  Impressive.  Here's a link to the KState ratings.

For the future -

2014 running back Brock Broughton (Kearney, Mo.) finished the 2012 season with 1,595 rushing yards, 216 receiving yards and 25 total touchdowns. He scored 20 touchdowns on the ground and averaged seven yards per rush.

Broughton has made his case to FBS programs, and he’s making his trips to various locations. Kansas State was his stop this past weekend, and the 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back said he enjoyed the trip to Manhattan, Kan.

Broughton was in attendance for Kansas State’s 44-30 win against Oklahoma State and said the Manhattan environment reminded him of “a bigger Kearney.”

“It was fantastic. I liked the school and the atmosphere,” Broughton said. “I had a chance to take a tour of the facilities. I saw the locker room, the equipment room, the press box ... it was great.

“That program’s all about family. I think that’s what made me look at it even more.”

Broughton, who is being recruited by quarterbacks coach Del Miller, had the chance to stand on the sidelines for pre-game rituals with the Wildcats. He also had a chance to speak with sophomore punter Mark Krause, who is from Kearney.

“He said it wasn’t a hard transfer coming from Kearney,” Broughton said of Krause. “That was a big deal to me.”

Broughton said that Kansas State is high on his list, and he gave the visit “a 9 on a 10 scale.” He said Kansas State, Tulsa and Missouri are emerging as early favorites, but the recruiting process is very early. Broughton is planning an unofficial visit to Missouri on Nov. 17 for the Tigers’ home game against Syracuse.

If we lose someone to Tulsa or Missouri after this season, we should just give up recruiting.

I don't see why, we still have an old man coach who is very vocal about retiring and promoting his son to get the job.  Our record this year doesn't change that any.

Hopefully Cre Moore stay's committed to KSU, I know on his twitter feed he mentioned his dad wants him to go to OU. I watched a little film on him and was pretty impressed. Definitely a solid 3 star corner back, looks like he can dish out some hard hits too and great speed. With one or two years through KSU weight training program the kid could be a monster cb for us in the future.
