eff that.  We weren't getting Frazier whether we recruited him or not.  Might as well just lock jup Sams and coach 'em up like crazy!

What was robersons 40 time? I know he wasnt THAT fast. He was just a really smooth runner with great vision. I think sams is that type of runner

Bishop's 40 time was in the 4.8's at the NFL combine so take that FWIW....

Rather have my running QB weigh 230 than be a 4.4.

But both work well.

Beasley was a very effective dual threat QB and I bet he wasn't any faster than a 4.8.  It would be nice to have a home run threat@ QB, but that is a very rare thing.  Helll, how many runs of 25 or 40+ did Vince Young have?  Probably not many.  It's better to have a mobile big guy @ QB than an undersized speedster, IMHO.  Not many Terrell Pryors in the country...

you're a rough ridin' idiot. never talk about michael bishop again, you've lost your right to.  :flush:

Quote
Bishop initially attended Blinn Junior College in Brenham, Texas, where, as a freshman, he led the Buccaneers to a 12-0 record and the NJCAA National Championship. He rushed for 387 yards including three scores and passed for 1,712 yards and 18 touchdowns. His sophomore year, he once again led Blinn to a 12-0 record and an NJCAA National Championship to become the first team to ever to win back-to-back titles. He was voted honorable mention All-Conference and controlled an offense which recorded 3,086 yards rushing, including 47 touchdowns and scored a total of 438 points (36.5 avg. per game). He passed for 972 yards, including nine touchdowns, and rushed for 265 yards and four scores.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

So, youre saying that signing an HM juco QB would be met with rousing approval?  Wasn't Pease at least HM last year?  You know that basically everyone wanted Bishop to switch positions, right?  The only reason we got him was because we promised to let him play QB.  Sounds very similar to Sams...

Sams seems to give us the best possible shot of some kind of success. I am OK with it - are there better QBs out there, yup - but this is the guy we have.
We are K-State and we love to hire SHlTTY coaches.
