Ck7 has changed the trajectory of this program.  God bless him.

I watched the first 2 minutes of his HUDL video and it was just him dropping bombs all over the field.

Barnett's father graduated from CU, but he still turned down coach Prime. Also, looks like he was the 4A 100m state champion as a sophomore last year, with a semi-final time of 11.07.

Those bama turds were lucky to catch us when they did.

Awful lot like our victories over USC before they got really rolling.

So blessed, and yes, when, not if Klein takes over the Kazz Zu Q@tz we will continue to be in good hands for a long time.

6'2", 220lbs, really fast, hard to tackle, big arm.  The kid looks good.  He doesn't jump off the screen when you watch his tape like Avery does, but the upside potential is there.

Found this from Gazette.com

Quote
You’re going to hear about Barnett down the road. You can count on one hand the number of college football prospects in Colorado more coveted than him, and you might need only a couple fingers. Couple months ago the 6-foot-1, 210-pound sprinter – yes, he barreled across the finish line — took an unofficial visit to the University of Georgia, college football’s reigning national champs. He’s taken an unofficial to CU-Boulder, and the Buffs should get on that. Colorado State, Kansas State, Oregon State, Washington and Kansas offered full-ride scholarships to play football. So the star quarterback prospect from Colorado is also the sixth-fastest high school kid in Colorado, taking into account the 5A 100-meter results. All that college football interest arrived before he won a state sprinting title and before he plays two more seasons of high school football for state title contenders at Erie. We’ll be watching Barnett play football on Saturdays.

“And on Sundays,” he predicted again.

We aren’t going to crack the top 20 in recruiting on a regular basis, we just don’t have the natural recruiting base/resources to do it.  I want Klieman to maximize our potential and thats recruiting a top 30 class every year. I could see us flirting with top 25 once in a while.  Not sure why you guys are being weird about it.

I hope whichever of these two stud QBs doesn't end up starting moves to WR to take advantage of their athleticism. Would be a shame to have that on the bench.

Why would a future NFL QB move to WR?  That would be silly for their careers.

also, more specifically, IMO Avery Johnson was a very unique recruit for us, but he's just one. Same with the RB from FSU. Who's to say we can't get two Avery's in a class and two high profile portal kombats? And then 3 or 4?

I agree we probably won't be perennial top 25 classes but I think there's still quite a bit of room to improve.

We came in at 31 this year, maybe that’s the disconnect.  We did really well.  We can win big 12 ships with top 30 classes.  I bet we can even win a playoff game with consistent top 30 classes with as good as our coaches are at developing.

I have absolutely no problem being a school that regularly has backup QBs transferring to other schools and being studs but it doesn’t matter because we have a steady string of stud starters
