2-Star.  Looks like Klieman has already embraced Snyder's recruiting philosophy.

Can NDSU players transfer to us and not have to sit out a year? We might be able to pull a lot of starting talent for next season doing that.

I do not think that "finish the season" Klieman is going to ransack that program

Meadowlark is a successful football coach, and I refuse to believe that any successful football coach at any level is above ransacking his former program to benefit himself. It actually makes sense that he is finishing the season if his plan in the end is to poach all of his best talent.

We'll see, but I think ADGT would be against it as well.  Clearly, he has a strong sense of loyalty to NDSU.

No they cannot.  I thought the same and realized the FCS would be the minor leagues for FBS if they allowed it.

What if they all took some online classes and graduated early and came as grad transfers?

Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

I haven’t followed recruiting in a very long time but Klieman appears to be working approximately 10 times harder than our former regime.  Granted it’s probably not much effort to just tell a kid you were already recruiting to just go to a different school.

Honest question - what is the recruiting strategy for a new coach at this point?  With only a week until the early signing day, do you sign whoever you can scrap together (our last couple commits are underwhelming), or do you shut it down for now, get a plan in place and try to finish strong for the Feb signing date?

I only want Phoenix Sproles. I'd want Easton Stick, only because he can do this

247 has him listed as a 2 on some links and a 3 on others. If you pull up Kansas State’s full list of commits, it lists him as a 3*. https://247sports.com/college/kansas-state/Season/2019-Football/Commits/

we stole him from coastal carolina his only other offer. and we wonder how our program got to where it is today
our competitors go 3-4 deep with ranked RB recruits. We not only can't get 1 of them we can't get anyone with another p5 offer

yes keeping Alex Barnes is probably his most important recruiting pitch right now.
