He was wearing number 7 in a photo at Vanier. Perhaps he's referring to himself  :dunno:

Who is the TE commit?
http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1359425/trace-kochevar

This kid will be a player. I really like him. If he remains at TE he's a better athlete than Mastrud - stronger and more physical at that age. If it's as a tackle he is a better athlete than Stringer.

Watch his film. Great pad level and foot movement on contact. Strong for a wiry kid, physical. Fluid. He is GOOD!!

LOL, of course

"Coach LHC Bill Snyder 'number 7' "

Wonder what that is about? Isn't that how many more wins Snyder needs to get to 200?

His film actually shows solid pass catching ability... I kind of like this pick up.

Dozier-Shelley-Barnett seems like a pretty sexy secondary. With Mike Moore and Elijah Lee at LB, the back half of the D might actually be pretty studly.

Lets be honest, this kid will never see the field. They will come up with some excuse of why he isn't learning the play book, no heart, etc. blah blah blah.

On that note, about the secondary, are OBz and company even trying to recruit a good local Juco DB?

They have a minimalist approach to recruiting Lonnie Johnson, which is annoying. However, there might be academic issues (?).
I don't remember a peep about the 'Cats looking at Johnathan Cook. He was a former 'Bama recruit that went to Garden City CC and is now signed with Memphis.

etc etc..

Dozier is not the/a solution. Here for a year, right?

Guess a Juco is only an extra year ..

I'm curious why Dozier evidently lost his starting position and saw less playing time as time went on. Doesn't seem very encouraging. If nothing else, provides some depth.

Who is going to play safety opposite Dante?

I was most impressed with Adams.  Newlan can hit but seems to take bad angles.  Prewitt had trouble with the tackling thing (plus, is he in the deep doghouse after his legal trouble?).  Banks?!?

Stringer was garbage and the only person in the world who has been called for multiple "leg whip" penalties in a game.

Are we not recruiting Mike McCoy?

What on Earth are we doing right now?  It's like there isn't even a goddamn plan.  At all.
