UPDATE: he camped at Arkansas recently and was the best LB there according to a rivals article.

he also has some pretty good measurables.

4.57 40 at 6'4 220 is pretty salty.

Comments: Johnston may have been the best looking player at any position in this camp. He possesses wide shoulders, long muscular arms and the legs of a track star. His size is such that he may eventually project as a pass rushing defensive end. He looked very athletic and nimble during agilities. But what really set him apart from his peers was his ability to turn and run with the fastest backs in the camp. This guy gobbles up yardage like a real estate tycoon buying up riverfront property. Johnston runs so effortlessly and can move sideline to sideline to make plays. He was awarded Co-LB MVP for his performance.

For starters Johnston really needs to start hitting the camp circuit. Most college coaches and recruiting pundits have no idea where Carl Junction is in Missouri. It would be a shame to see him play at any level lower than major FBS. He should be considered a major sleeper at this point.

Folks, this is a legit 6-4 220-plus LB with legit 4.5 speed (timed at multiple camps). I think he looks a little Ben Leber-ish in his video.

Yeah there's no doubt he's 225 or more. He looks huge and fast on hudl.
