If they thought they could have landed him, I could have seen Texas hiring LCBS to "claim the waters." A couple NCs and he enjoys a golden retirement.

Even if UT coveted Jake that badly, losing 2 years for intra-conference transferring is a killer.

Hey, idiot, we're talking about Texas recruiting Jake out of IWCC. There's no "intra-conference" transfer rule for guys that aren't even in the damn conference yet.

Aren't you the jackwagon that always says "english is hard, hur hur hur?"

No. I don't say that. In fact, everything in your post is wrong. I guess if you can't craft a thoughtful response, you just resort to name calling. English is hard, huh...

I did craft a response. You were making some misguided point about a transfer rule when the topic was Texas recruiting Waters - most likely to keep him from us. So, re-read my my post minus the "idiot" and "jackwagon" and you'll see I didn't rely on "name calling" in the least bit.

The original poster was talking about UT hiring Snyds and used "claiming the waters" as a pun on "calming the waters". It has nothing to do with UT wanting Jake Waters. If UT ever wanted Waters they would have gotten him.

Furthermore, by the time UT was looking for a head coach, Waters had already played for KSU, thus the transfer rule would apply.  It's not healthy to be that angry this early in the morning.

I think he realized their interest in him was a defensive move to keep us from getting him...which is funny considering how crap their QB plays has been.

In regards to interpreting the posts, Spracne mentioned a totally unrelated transfer rule.
