I would probably assume this to be the case.

Texas JUCO kids are tough to grab if they weren't full qualifiers out of high school.  I don't know if this is still the case, but a while back, they had to take a pretty tough exit exam on top of passing all of their classes.  If I remember correctly, we smuggled Bishop from Blinn his second semester and put him at Garden City or something on a track scholarship just to ensure he wouldn't have to take it.

This was back when our staff had some imagination... now we go to NYC and hear about OSU and Gundy stealing our best recruits after the fact.

This staff has been pretty good @ getting kids qualified.  Darious Thomas, DT, Prizell, etc all had some problems that were taken care of.  Prizell and Darious landed in our laps after other schools were unable to get them qualified.
