all too often it seems that the dudes we really want just wind up buried in other teams' depth charts.  makes me pretty sad. what could've been, you know?   but when they actually see early PT, it's like que sera, sera.  whatever will be will be.  the future's not ours to see.  tis better to have loved and lost, etc.

When they end up buried, I usually think "Well, at least he's not wasting one of our scholarships." But then Arthur had so much success here that I'm starting to change my stance more toward yours. What if these guys all would have been studs if they would only have signed with Bill? It's just really unfortunate.

Call me an bad person, but I dont extend much empathy for youngsters who CHOSE to go elsewhere.  If they didn't consider the possible fate for themselves at a "more elite" program then they aren't smart enough to play here anyway.
